Why did my Instagram account get deleted last night?

I was on Instagram last night and it signed me out. I went to sign back in and it said my account was disabled because it violated their terms of service. I didn't do anything that would violate their terms of service. My friends later told me about everyone posting this thing that said they were going to delete people's accounts. I don't appreciate the fact that they deleted it without telling me. It was my main account and I had over 500 followers. Does anybody know what's going on and how I can get my account back??? Thanks!

Mine was deleted last night too. For no reason. Lots of people are having the same issue. Don't try emailing them, they don't respond.
