Why are these girls accepting my friend request on FB?

So A few weeks ago I added a few girls on facebook but I don't know them at all, and yet they are accepting my friend request. Why do they do this? It says there status is single. I know it might seem creepy for me to add random girls but don't judge. I want to message them, but I don't know what to say.

Chances are they either don't think much of it and just mindlessly click "accept" whenever they receive friend requests, or they like to meet new people randomly through social networking sites. If you want to message them, try not to sound creepy by saying something like "Hi, I thought you were really pretty and noticed you were single" or something along those lines, just start off with something simple like "Hey, I know this is random and we don't know each other, but I like meeting new people and I was hoping we could get to know one another" or something along those lines. If those girls are anything like me, they might just ignore it, but hey, it's worth a shot. The worst they can do is that much, right? You're not sexually harassing them or verbally abusing them in any way, so it's not like anything bad can come out of messaging them. Best of luck to you, and I hope this helped a little bit!
