can you get a virus on your computer that hacks facebook accounts?

my boyfriend used my labtop the other day to log into his facebook account. now, people are posting statuses saying stuff like "i like to suck black ****" and its coming from my computer. yesterday his password was changed and it said it was done from this computer. theres no other people in my house except my foster dad and hes 73 years old he doesnt even know how to turn on a computer. him and his mom are mad at me since they think im doing it. i dont know whats going on. its weird. help..?

Short answer: if the virus is sophisticated enough, then yes it can even do it by it's own.

This must have been done by your boyfriend
You laptop must have been operated by him
He should have done this is on any background think about it. He must be the culprit.
Your laptop has nothing to do with it.
