If you like then unlike someones post on facebook do they get a notification?

I was on facebook and i was looking through peoples pics (like everyone does) and I liked this picture from 2010 by accident. I don't wanna look like a creep so can they get a notification??

It will appear in their notifications that you liked it, but when they click on it, it won't show that you liked it. So, if they know how facebook works, they'll know that you liked, then unliked their status, but some people may think "oh, maybe it was just a glitch or something...oh well!"

They will get a notification if u like something....it u unlike it the wont get a notification

I tested this at one point.

If the person was online when you liked the post, they see a notification. There are no notifications for unliking.

If the person was not online when you liked the post, and you unlike it before they get online again, the notification for liking it gets removed too. They get no notifications about you liking or unliking.
