Can someone explain "x people saw this post" on Facebook?
From my understanding, each time a person scrolls down and my post loads on their page, that person is counted as someone who saw my post, but this is what I don't understand:

I have a page named "All Bahamian Sports"... 950 likes. It seems like simple posts get FAR FEWER "people who see the post" than if I was to post something like sports results, which gets over 1,000 people seeing the posts easily!

#1... whether the post seems interesting or not, if the post only has to load on the person's home page, how does it matter if the post is interesting or not?

#2... shouldn't the person have to 'like' the page before they can even see a post? How can the amount of people who see the post exceed the amount of 'likes' that the page has?

#1... It doesn't people are only doing it out of bordom or popularity (its hard to explain, some people can be a little weird when it comes to fb)

#2... No, There allowed to see the post without liking it, but it you don't want people doing that you can set your posts to friends only or friends of friends only, so only they can see them.

I understand that the people (fans of your page) who "like" your page may themselves also have friends that, by definition, can therefore "see" that their friend likes your page, and so your fan's friends are also included in the count of people who "saw" your post.
