It means that the chances of them dating that would be 50%. A high number for instance 7, would mean that the chances of dating that girl would be 70%. A low number would have less chances so 3 would equal to a 30% chance of dating that girl. The scale is 1 to 10 with 1 being unlikely and 10 being likely.
