when i view my facebook profile as the public. some old photos and posts are still visible.?
i went to time line settings and made my timeline visible only to friends. so i assumed the public wouldnt see anything except my profile picture and a few other things. but when i view it as public they can still see some photos on my timeline and some posts from back in 2011. wtf, why is it not hidden?
thanks ygvh, that explains some of them.
but posts that i have posted in 2011 and before are also visible. status updates, uploaded photos. everything.

is this a glitch?

It may be because some of these photos you are tagged in, but they are not your photos. They are actually someone else's photo which you are just tagged in.

In that case then, if the uploader of the person is a public profile and you are tagged, it can be seen publicly unless the uploader changes their profile to private
