What happens to my Facebook event if I deactivate my account?
I'm hosting an event on Facebook but I want to deactivate my account but I don't want people to forget about the event or think it's canceled. If I deactivate will my event still exist?

All things associated with the account will be deleted as well.
So yes, the event will be canceled as far as Facebook is concerned.
