Is it wrong to Facebook/Twitter/Instagram stalk?

I'm a teenager in high school and I'm sadly devoid of a social life. I do however have social networking and feel bad for stalking people on there sometimes, but it's mostly because I have nothing to do or people to socially interact with.

I always knew it was wrong but couldn't help but do it. I have been racked with guilt and envy because of it. Not to mention I get paranoid that sometimes these three will have a feature that allows you to see who visits your profile someday.

Overall, am I a bad person because of it? And how do I stop aside from the obvious "get a life" option?
