Is there a way to hide the entire news feed on Facebook?
I don't want to see the news feed when I log on - is there a way to do this? I'm fine with adding/change Chrome extensions, Facebook settings, etc. I just want it to be blank.
I still want to be able to log into facebook and search specific people's pages, but I would prefer a blank space to be where my news feed is. I don't mean my own timeline, I mean my news feed.

What's the points of opening your FB if not see your Newsfeed? it's the default, if you log in your FB.

Do you mean you just want directly to see your timeline? or what?

If you want to directly see your Timeline, make a bookmark of your Timeline, put that on your home/desktop screen, so next time just click that bookmark.

(you can change or have other bookmark to bring you directly to the place you want, eg directly to your Message)

If you don't want your friends/Page you liked/People you follow' updates, go click to say your friend's Timeline, click Friends, untick Show in Newsfeed. Do that for each of them. Why then in the first place you join FB, and befriend with them or liked Page, or Following people?
