i can view videos on instagram but i dont have a video icon to post my own.?

.i have already updated my phone...i have a htc s1 phone with t mobile....also another question if i uninstall instagram and re install will i lose all my pics and comments?

on the release notes in the play store it says that you need to have the right version of android. I believe that versions 4.1 and up have it, or maybe only versions 4.2 and up have that capability. all of the versions can view video though, i think. Check for updates for your phone
