Does anyone know any websites that have a .org?
I'm doing a Annotative Bibliography on a website and my subject is how American social values have chaged over the past 50 year. My teacher prefers our choice to be .org or .net.

http://www.Woodheat.org

You could look at the personal and social side of wood heating. In some rural communities in the states, aspects of heating permeate the culture. Especially in areas where the costs of heating oil hit the middle class really hard. This effects the rural northern us.

How this may impact social life, 50-75 years ago a majority of people heated with either wood or coal. As cheap oil and natural gas hit the US marketplace, it started to dominate the us heating needs. In the 70's with the arab oil embargo, wood heating became popular in places where heating oil prices rose too high the average household to heat their house. Then in the 80's heating fuel became less expensive compared to the average income and thus wood heating fell by the wayside. As Y2k approached, people started moving back due to fear of the potential for computers to stop working, but also as the fuel prices rose back to 70's level impact(2008), people started to turn back to wood for fuel to heat their houses. Now a small segment of the population still heat with wood, some because it is less expensive, and others because they want their carbon emissions to have a 40 year cycle instead of the millions of year carbon cycle for oil or natural gas.
