Could one access facebook and other restricted websites from western embassies in China?
Since websites such as facebook are blocked and are illegal in China, if a US citizen (for example) were to stay in the US Embassy in Beijing, would they be allowed to gain access to these restricted websites such as facebook?

I know that when I went to China in the summer of 2012, I had no trouble accessing Facebook via my cell phone.

You could just as easily use a proxy service or a simple browser add-on like Hola Unblocker
