Is it possible my facebook message didn't go through?

i sent someone a message on facebook, and it shows in my messaging list but it says they haven't read it...? I know they can choose to read it or not, but normally they do, and they are always on. it always says when they were last on (mobile) and i've seen them online often, but it doesn't say they've read it.

is it possible it just didn't go through? or are they ignoring me?

They probably read it if it was a brief message via just clicking on the tab. If they click on the actual message it will show they've read it then.

They might have even read it via their e-mails.

Send them another message if you are desperate to talk to them.

Facebook messages always make it through
