I have a list of Close Friends, and i get notifications when they post something. Will i still get them?

No, unless (and until) you reactivate your account. I believe FB gives you 14 days to reactivate your account before it is deleted.

Depends. I de-activated mine last night, and I got a text earlier saying one of your friends has updated their status blah blah. But you won't get messages etc.
