Threatening messages on Facebook?

Someone made a fake profile and has been sending me rude threatening messages.
They've deactivated their account so what can I do?
I mean do I call the police? What will they do?
And if someone deactivated their account can i find the location of the person/message that sent me the messages?

Just ignore them, if they have to use a fake account to be an ass then meh..

If the account is deactivated the police can't and won't do anything. They will only get involved if you and your friends have reported the account and Facebook refuses to take it down
