How to put my facebook completely private?
I adjusted my settings to what I thought my facebook would be private, my facebook always has been private before the timeline thing came in. So i deleted my mum off facebook and went on her account to check she couldn't see any of my pictures or posts but she can see 3 or 4 of my albums and all the 'photos of you'. How to make it completely private so all she can see is my name and the small profile pic? There are far too many weirdo's these days to let it stay like this!

Thanks
I dont have the profile option that makes my whole account private to the public in general though, it's split up into bits like posts etc, but there's nothing for photos to make them private or anything. thanks for your help though

To set your profile to private/public, You can set your desired settings in the privacy section of facebook:

Move your mouse over the "Account" in the top right corner and click "privacy" (ie. https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=privacy ).

Then click on "Profile" (ie. https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=privacy )

If you set the "Profile" option to "Only friends" then only friends will be able to see your profile. This includes pictures and info. Changing it to "everyone in my network" will allow everyone that's in your network(s) to be able to see your profile.
Once you save this option anyone that isn't your friend that searches for you will see your name in black (ie. noncollectable) and they will need to add you as a friend (and you accept the request) for them to be able to see your profile & pictures.

The only way to completely privatize your account is to deactivate it.
