Why is facebook notifications not working?

For whatever reason, Facebook claims I have absolutely no notifications, despite clearly being tagged in certain pictures and videos. Due to this, I have no clue whether anyone has said anything related to me. It doesn't even display my history of notifications. It's as though Facebook thinks I have never received any notification ever.

The notification settings seem to be all right, so I have no clue why my Facebook as done this. Can anyone think of why this could happen? Help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried different browsers , because some times browser's issues take a part.
Else you can also run your antivirus scan , may be that is happening because of malware or virus...

Click on the Globe Icon the Notifications One and See if Maybe the Display Count May Not Be Working If Its Not Being Displayed in the Notifications If Nothing Is Blocked Than its a Technical Problem With Facebook Please Contact Facebook at the Help Center and Report the Problem To Them

I have the same problem. My globe always shows I have 30 notifications. When I click on it, it responds "no notifications ". Disturbing. Im going to reinstall the app and use a diff browser. I feel it is a problem between the two.
