Weird FB message with profound respect.?

I've got this fb message with a profound respect from someone asking for friendship and keeping contact by e8mail. I suspect because of the way they are insisting using emails and I don't know if the email is trusted..
Anyone had something like that before?

Yes I had that happen to me, I blocked the person and his email address too. It sounds a bit dodgy to me so if I were you I wouldn't accept friend request and also block his email address.

That person try to hack your email address. Don't ever give it to nobody. Report that person, block their FB account.
