should i get a Facebook account?

my mom and friends say i should get a face book, i do but im nervous about the people on Facebook and what happens if someone hacks my account then says bad stuff? all i would use it for would be contacting people that live far away and *like* stores.

Its a good way to stay in contact with friends and keep up with all the gossip and drama. Girls seem to like it more then guys. There really isn't anything people can do if they hack you besides write funny status's and if that happens you can just change your password. There are many security features that allow only your friends to see your pictures and posts of you so choose.

It all depends on you. It does help when contacting relatives and your friends and keeping up with friends/family updates! But any account can get hacked, and if it does happen to u, then change password and delete whatever was posted. Hope this helps ^_^

Just make sure you add people you know.and you can hide your stuffs.
