I wouldn't suggest add random people because that can get your Facebook account banned Big Grin

I'll just say add your friends that you know in real and keep making new friends and if they have a Facebook, add them.

know a lot of people, friend everyone on your "people you may know" list and, and accept any friend request you get. also, people that move around (as in change homes) a lot know more people and therefore are friends with people in the place(s) they previously lived and where they currently live

it's against the rules to add people you dont know, and if you ignore the rules and do it anyways, facebook will lock your account

You should try searching up the names of all your friends, or people that you want to be friends with. They'll probably accept it, because they're probably looking for more friends too. Also, you should try accepting all friend requests you get, that way you can get more friends.
But the number of Facebook friends you have isn't important, and a person having a lot of friends on Facebook doesn't mean that they're super popular and have lots of friends in real life. But still, I got a lot of Facebook friends that way, so you should try doing that.
Also, if you're on a school sports team, then you should try adding some people on your team.
