Each time I read my mail, it is set back to the default sort (by date, newest to oldest). I don't want my mail in that order, so each time I open my email, I have to fix the sort... again.

I would like to know the answer to this as well since up until 4 days ago the emails went from oldest to newest.
Now every time I go into mail, I have to reset it. I also don't like the ads at the bottom of the emails.

From the first response in this thread, it sounds like this is not an error, but is being forced by Yahoo because of "continuous scroll" in the inbox. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...238AAOUWEH

It's exceptionally frustrating. Hammer Yahoo on Twitter and elsewhere, maybe they'll decide to let us control our inbox preferences for ourselves again.
