How can I gain more followers on instagram?

I know there are lots of scam Internet websites out there and I'm not doing any of those.
I have shouted out a lot of shoutout pages on instagram also and I'm waiting on all of them still.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can gain follwers?

Well there's a way to get 1000 for $5 and I know it works. It's called fiverr.com it's where people pay $5 for random stuff. There are people there that can get you 1000 for just $5 the thing is most if the followers you'll get will be inactive and prob wont like your pics and stuff but its still cool. Otherwise you'll just how to keep getting promos and stuff sorry hope this helps
