Mischief Managed????????????????????????????
I know this a little late to ask this question but... Why were people saying "Mischief Managed" after Harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 came out? It was a trending topic on twitter too. I read all the books but in the last one i kinda went a little fast because it was soooo good!

Because that's what you say to wipe the marauder's map clean after you are done with it. The HP books were finally done i.e. mischief managed.

In the third book, when Harry receives the Marauder's Map, Fred and George tell him how to use the map. To reveal what's on the map you must say "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." while putting the tip or your wand to the map. To hide what is on the map when you're done, you say "Mischief managed". So when the series was over after the last movie came out, everyone said "Mischief managed", in a way saying goodbye to the series.

It was mentioned more in the Prisoner of Askaban. James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter created a map that not only shows every classroom, every hallway, and every corner of the castle, but it also shows every inch of the grounds, as well as all the secret passages that are hidden within its walls and the location of every person in the grounds, portrayed by a dot. The Weasley twins gave Harry the map. In order to read the map you have to say, "I solemnly swear I am up to no good." To hide the contents of the map you say, "Mischief manage." If you don't use the proper words the map will insult you and tell you to mind your own business. This happened to Snape.
