If I comment on someone else's status, does it show up on my timeline at all?

Or anywhere that my non-mutual friends can see it? If so, how do I get rid of it? I understand his friends will see it, and our mutual friends will see it, but the rest of my friends don't need to.

Your friends will be able to see it. It won't come up as a post on their news feed but you know where the box is, on top of the whose online box, which shows what people online have been doing on facebook (uploading pics, liking things, commenting on things etc) people will see it on there. Although, I'm not sure this counts all the time though cos if I just happen to like someone's post it doesn't always come up on another's facebook, but if I was to leave a wallpost on someone's wall, my friends have been known to see even if they aren't friends with that person. Facebook's privacy settings are terrible.
