When I press the 'follow' button on Instagram, it automatically unfollows. How do I fix this?
I tried following some people on the Instagram app on my new iPod touch, but it doesn't work! The button will say 'following', but 4 seconds later it will go back to 'follow'. It's annoying! I can't follow anyone! I was following people before, I don't know what happened. How can I fix this? I already tried restarting my iPod and restarting the app.

Try following people from a computer. Go to an instagram viewer like instagram.com or something and do it from there.
