today the news feed above my chat just vanished....i dont know why...what should i do.? is there a way to get it back?

facebook is going to update. this problem is solve after some time

Facebook is facing a serious meltdown caused by the veryfication algorythm they implemented its thei're security codes that are to blame

its just maintainence, or maybe they're rolling out new features. it should be okay in a few hours

try a different browser (chrome- firefox..etc) if failed then it is the server (facebook) not yours.
if it works, then it is your default browser problem and you have to delete the temporary files and clear history and cookies from that browser and try again
