I accidentally shared something on facebook?

I was looking through a funny posts page on facebook on my phone and accidentally shared something inappropriate. I am well behaved and I know everything on facebook is available for employers and colleges to see. After, I went to the x on the thing in my timeline and I clicked delete. No one can see it anymore, right? Is there any other thing I could do to make sure that it's not there? Thanks guys

Well, it is still existing on FB and it doesn't officially get off the public internet for another 10 years. But as long as they don't search TOO hard, they probably won't see it.

Well, on the web it will be deleted straight away so that no one can see it anymore. But on the FB app people will be able to see it (on the news feed) until they refresh it…
