How do I stop my facebook friends finding my instagram?

okkay so i decided to make a second instagram account but i dont want any of my facebook friends to be able to find it. so i tried a few things to try and stop this but somehow 2 friends from facebook found it!! how come?? i dont want any facebook friends to be able to find this new account! Are they finding it through the find friends button?? PLEASE HELP!!!

i don't really know how it works, but you have to make sure everything is new. new names, new email accounts, nothing from your old one.

nothing predictable either. just make everything new, if you did or if you will do that and they still find it... i don't know. they might have access to something you're not aware of.

also, can't you make it private? make it so people can't see anything or add you or something. i don't use fb a lot but i did see an option to make it so that you can't be found through search

Do you Have Facebook and Instagram Linked togather if So Thats How there Finding it Using Instagrams Friend Finder Feature they Can Look Up Facebook Friends and your Instagram will Probably Be Included Unlink your Instagram With Facebook

I'm having the same problem. But I already have a different email for it. The only thing which is the same as Facebook is my name hazel. WTF am I ment to do! I went on Facebook looked at all the setting and I don't have any links with Instagram on there. Facebook is going behind people's back, and its really pissing me off!
