On Facebook how to I remove photos that people have tagged me in?!?

Somebody tagged me in a photo and I hate it! I want it removed off Facebook! I have asked her but she's said 'no' I don't know why she won't delete it but she won't
Can I get Facebook to remove it? Help me
P.S she tagged me by the status,she didn't tag me by the photo:/

you can hate it all you want, facebook isnt going to remove someone else's picture or post just because you dont like it

you can try reporting it anonymously, but i doubt it will do any good

You mean she tagged you by caption not photo, right?
If so there's no way you can remove it, you can remove it from your timeline though.
Your (you & your friend) mutual friends can view that photo, but not your friends if you remove it from your timeline.
You can also set who can see photos/status you were tagged in in your privacy settings. This might also help, and also set review things that you're tagged in before it appears in your timeline. This will ask you to approve photos/status you are tagged in before adding it to your timeline.
