instagram comments with hashtags not showing up?

after i post a picture i always add a comment with some hashtags for more likes. don't judge. but now when i post it, it immediately dissapears. i don't know if maybe i just can't see it, but other people can. i don't know. my instagram is @ oheyitsshaelyn if you want to tell me if you can see the comment or not.

I was experiencing the exact same problem. I just checked out your instagram and there are no hashtags that I can see on any of your photos. I guess it's better that way so it doesn't spam other people hahaha!

I figured out a method to fix this.

1) Enter statigr.am into your web browser, log into it with your Instagram username and password. It would be better if you did this on your actual computer rather than through your phone.
2) Go to "My Photos"
3) Click the picture you're having issues with and look at the comments, there should be an option to "View All", click that
4) Look for your comment where you've hashtagged a bunch of stuff and delete it by clicking the track bin icon.
5) Voila! You've deleted your old hashtags and can add new ones through Instagram.

6) If you CAN'T "View All" because no one has made any comments on your photo aside from yourself, go on that photo on your Instagram and comment on it 3 or 4 times with random things, refresh your browser until you see the "View All" button on your Statigr.am in your browser, then follow the same instructions and you should be good. Then you can delete the other comments you made at the same time.

A few of my friends and I have all been experiencing this lately. I honestly think its just a bug that will (hopefully) get worked out soon in an update. It may have to do with the most recent update itself, because all of these problems started occurring around the time that the update was released.

I realize that this wasn't very helpful, but I'm having the same problem myself! Haha. I just figured I'd present a possible theory of why it's happened.

If this many people are having issues with it, it should be fixed very soon.
