how do you set birthday on facebook?

I want to put my birthday on my timeline (its in less than a week) and I don't know how help!!!

Go to your profile page and click the "info" tab. You need to edit the "basic information" section because that's where your birthday is listed. When you hover over the area with your mouse, the "edit" option will come up on the right. Click it.
Now change your birthdate, month, year and select "show full birthday" or "show only month and day".
The only difference between those two options is that with the first one, your friends can know how old you are.
