No need to make a <a> tag. just coy and paste your link and it will be hyper link itself. If you want hyper link with a anchor text, there is no option in Facebook for that.

You Cant Use HTML In a Facebook Status HTML Is Not Allowed on Facebook Any Codes you Write in Status Will Remain Just a Code

If you Want to Link to Something you Have to Just Copy and paste the Link you can Remove the Link Once it Shows the Preview and Say What you Want it to Say
