How do I appear offline/on mobile for facebook on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and a facebook. I like to be logged in at all times for easy access. The thing is, even when I am not active, my friends say it appears I am online and active. In other words, there is a little green dot next to my name when there shouldnt be.

Go Offline For Chat and The Green Dot Should Go Away The Phone Options Are Different For Different Device But on the App Look For Chat and Look For Chat Settings and it should Show a Go Offline Button
