How do I upload old Instagram photos onto facebook and into the Instagram album?

When I touch the three little dots on the bottom of the instagram picture it only gives me the option to upload it as a link on my wall, instead of into the Instagram folder. Uggg help!

Is your Instagram app up to date? I just shared some old pictures and all I had to do was click on the three dots and then choose "Share Photo" and then a screen comes up that looks exactly like it does when you first upload a picture onto Instagram (the screen where you write your caption) and Facebook will be under it, along with Twitter, Email, Tumblr, and foursquare.

Hi Friend,

To locate Instagram app, go to your personal Timeline and click "Activity Log" near the cover photo up top. Now on the left-hand pane, expand the apps and Instagram will eventually appear.

The issue––as some others above have experienced––is even after the settings for "This app can post on your behalf to:" is changed to Friends/Public, no photo uploaded from Instagram to Facebook (via Phone) creates any "Instagram Albums" of any kind, nor does any activity appear in the Instagram news feed to acknowledge any photo was uploaded.

For me, when a photo is shared from Instagram, only the LINK is shared to FB. Could that be why there is no "Instagram album" created?

For now, I just upload photos straight from phone to FB in batches (without Instagram), to which they appear in a "Mobile Uploads" album.
