Is there a way to change Facebook's chat sound?

Or even if it's not possible to change it, maybe turn the volume down somehow?
I know that you can't do these via facebook (except to completely disable it, but that's not an option), but I'm thinking out of the box...maybe there is an extension or app for it.
Oh yeah, and I'm using Chrome...I've been searching the webstore for a solution, but with no luck.
It would be great, if someone could help, because the alert sound is kinda annoying.

i don't think there is.. the sound is very annoying that's why i turn the sound off other then that there no other way
