How can I obtain or restore an entire Facebook Conversation with a friend?
Please read before answering:

I realize that on my account, the conversation is gone once deleted, and there is no getting it back (short of some very expensive favors to some very important people at FB)

And I did not archive the conversation, I actually deleted it.

Just wanted to give some important background information before getting onto the question. The FB friend is my GF, and she has on her account the entire conversation history between us. Anything that needs to be done to her account or with her account is very likely possible. So does anyone know of anyway to get those messages back onto my FB messages, or a way to save them? I can't imagine that there is no way to do this, especially since the entire conversation is sitting in her inbox, I just haven't found a way yet.

If anyone knows anything or even has any leads on something that might work, please let me know! Thank you very much! Big Grin
I'll ask her to send me a message and hopefully they'll all come through, however, when you delete a message, it's actually deleted, NOT archived. The option to Archive your messages is separate from the option to delete your messages. It may have used to been that way, but it isn't anymore sadly :\

Thanks!
Having her send me a message did nothing :\ I'm disappointed, but not surprised. You have no control over if someone messages you or not (other than blocking them) so why would all the messages that you must have wanted deleted come back? That would be a design flaw on the developers part...heh, the one time FB devs do something right :|

if she has the whole conversation on her account still, all she has to do is reply to it again and it all gets re-added to your account

and when you delete it, it actually goes to you archive folder

you would have had to take the 2nd step of deleting it from your archive folder too in order to actually delete it
