how do you connect twitter to facebook?

ok, so i see people posting things from twitter to their facebook, i can't figure out out how they do it. I asked one of my friends how you do this, and they suggested that you go to a site called twitterproxy. I have tried that and it simply DOES NOT WORK. How can i connect twitter to facebook?

Log in to Facebook and access the Twitter application by navigating to https://www.facebook.com/apps/applicatio...231777543.

Click the "Add Application" button to add the "Twitter" Facebook application.

Choose your preferred settings and click "Add Twitter."

Input your Twitter username and password in the appropriate field. Note: Your login information is safe as this application is made available exclusively by Twitter for Facebook.

Choose to have Twitter update your Facebook status.

Allow and authorize access for Twitter to Facebook. Every time you update your Twitter account, your Facebook status will update automatically.
