Don't take it out on your brother. If you really don't know the person or are unsure, I say just unfriend. I never add strangers, never know who is behind the monitor, only people I have personally met.

If you don't want your brother on your laptop setup a password then go to Control Panel>Appearance & Personalization >Personalization>Screen Saver(in bottom left)> Setup yourself a screensaver then click "On resume, display logon screen, and make sure its checked!
To quickly lock your laptop press and hold the windows key (to the left of alt key) then press l and release!

Lock your laptop before you leave the room. If you have Windows 7:

Start menu > Lock

This will bring bring the computer into the user screen and will make you enter your password to be able to access your computer with your user. YOU MUST HAVE A PASSWORD SET FOR THIS TO WORK! This will prevent anyone (or anything) from accessing or even knowing what's going on in your computer without entering your password.

You can also set a screensaver to block out the main screen. Though it wouldn't really prevent anyone from accessing your computer since a simple shake of a mouse will bring the computer back to the main screen, but it'll do some help by "covering up" your screen and whatnot.

These two things might prevent your (in your opinion) dumb, annoying brother from looking on your Facebook.
