Why do people take pictures of themselves studying on facebook or instagram?

Im in college and ive noticed that whenever i sign on facebook or instagram, people take pictures of themselves studying or a picture of their school books and notes anda starbucks coffee with a quote saying how much they're studying. I dont know i guess it just bugs mee cause i study but dont feel the need to share that...

i would try not to worry about since you can prove how smart you are by starting to study, not taking pictures )) basically my point is, if you start studying, you'll be even smarter than you already are. you already are smarter than those people who feel the need to post pictures of them studying, but if you start studying like they do in their pictures, you'll be a genius! also try not to worry about the pictures too much because they could actually not be studying in real life but in the picture. good luck and don't let it bother you!
