Both Facebook AND Instagram not letting me sign in? Suspicious?

SAME thing is happening to my daughter's Instagram account, but not mine. WEIRD! Pls let me know what you find out! I'm not going to download any photo id's either. I'm not crazy!

I got the same problem, I'm worried that I'm involved into somethings that i didn't do, did you solve your problem? a big help if We all solve this. thank you. Facebook's not responsive as of this moment. i am disappointed, as well as Instagram.

Having the same problem. I'm contacting a friend who works at Facebook to see if they are aware of the problem and if there are any known solutions.

I feel better knowing that you all have the same issue as I but this is unacceptable. If anyone gets a solution can you please pass it on? I've been dealing with this issue since yesterday and both Facebook and Instagram have no way of of contacting anyone.

The same thing keeps happening to me..I'm running out of options here so if anyone has figured out what to do please let me know.

The EXACT same thing happenned to me as well but in reverse order. My Facebook went down first and then Instagram after a few hours. Luckily I put my Instagram photo's on private right before it happenned. I am totally done with Instagram and have lost all desire to use it now. However would like to get into my Facebook even though I'm so angry. Has anyone received this so called email that Facebook says they will send?

Phew! I thought i was the only one this was happening to. Both instagram and FB logged me out and same thing with me, I was asked to upload a governement issued ID, and that was a red flag for me. That is when i wrote both Fb and instagram and nothing, no responses as of yet only a link to the help center which doesnt really help. I hope they can fix this quickly.This seems to have happened recently to all of us by reading these responses so maybe its a glich they will get a hold of once we have all contacted them.

I am in UK and had exactly the same thing happen to me last night, also I have received e-mails too, does no-one have an answer how to solve this?

There doesn't seem to be any mention anywhere apart from here and both Instagram and Facebook don't seem to have a page you can get a direct answer from?

As my FB is my business page I am more than annoyed!

Also I have had that facebook e-mail about ID, I believe this to be fake as when I reset my password facebook puts their details at the bottom, the fake ones are blank and as I have had two and one of them pretends I have asked a question that I haven't asked facebook

th exact happened to me and its freaking me out, I have left it for a day to see if it will go but it hasn't, im not sure what to do other than make a new account or spam facebook support team with what the problem is and little rants x

I've been logged out for approx. 3 days now
Thought it was a scam (felt like one) but now I'm convinced they are just trying to track down underage users. Hence suspending suspicious accounts. Unlike other known cases where underage daughters' or sons' account were suspended. I'm way over 13 years old and I registered with my legit D.O.B which is > 18 so I'm not too sure why Facebook secured my account. Anyways, I just submitted my DL showing only my name and DOB. Hope things clear up. I'm still pissed not because my account is secured but Facebook/Instagram not providing heads up nor clarification till 3 days later? Good luck everyone.
