Facebook: Girlfriend of 8.5 years...do I go through and delete all pictures or what? What is the rule on this?

Dated a girl for 8.5 years, so we have lots of pictures and memories. I've deleted the ones of the past year and all my profile pictures with her. Do you feel it's necessary to dig through all the old photos and get rid of them? Will the next girl (assuming I ever find another) just go through them all and judge me for leaving them?

It has been a month since the split, at first it was just torture going through and deleting some of the pictures...Now I just want to know what is the facebook etiquette. I haven't dated anyone new since facebook has been around =/
