Some teachers don't allow it . Some Do . I don't know a lot who do , but as a teacher and a doctor , I don't allow it . I think it's inn appropriate .

No not at all, as long as you dont have inapropriate conversations with the teacher which could get you two in legal trouble!

I have one of my teachers added on Facebook only because we used it as a group discussion area for projects. I would not add any of my teachers and some teachers do not add or accept friend request from students.

It's not "illegal", but most schools have policies against allowing teachers to add students on Facebook. Some teachers will add you after you graduate, or if you no longer attend the school they teach at.
