i want to save my relationship how do i save it?

i have been doing my part on communicating like i would send my girlfriend a text here and there to communicate with her like how her day is going and everything and just how she's feeling. but then also like i would try and make the effort to always try and hangout like she lives up in Greeley Colorado for college and i told her you know i have no problem driving up etc. and i understand and i get that she's been busy with school etc. but also like i would try to find a balance of what type of communication will work for her and i don't know that yet and i just i don't know how to save a relationship that i truly care about and this has been the first time i have been wanting to save a relationship because i care for her and i just i don't know how to bring this up to her or what to say to her about it please anyone with advice let me know thank you very much and
