How do you change your fb name to just your first name I know there is a way?

Bearing in mind I can't change my name anymore but there is a page that would let me once more but it says I need proof of my name. My friends have done it before and I really need help so help please! I'm not a computer whiz and don't know how change proxies/IPS I would actually be so grateful if someone helped. I just need a simple way.
