How to know whether someone has accepted or rejected your friend request on Facebook in 2013?

Well I have mentioned 'in 2013' because Facebook has altered many of its features and it is difficult to understand what happens in Facebook now because it has become so complicated.
Well, I sent a request to a certain person and I am really keen on becoming friends with that particular person. So how do I come to know whether the person has accepted my request or not?
I did some research before posting this question and I found out some answers saying that 'if the person has rejected the request, you see the option "ADD FRIEND" again' and that is how you know your request has been rejected. Does that method still apply to the new features of Facebook or has Facebook changed this also along with its other things?

Its The Same Way As it Was Before Never has Changed you Go to There Profile If It Still Says Friend Request Sent than The Request has not Been Answered if It Says Add as a Friend Than The Request Got Denied If it Says Friends Than They Approved your Requests
