If you're an adult, nudity and risque pictures... You'll get thousands of followers....

Other than that, you need to find other ways other than Yahoo! Answers to promote yourself. If you're a nobody posting pictures about nobody things, you'll continue to have a nobody following... Find a niche, exploit the hell out of it and prosper.
