How come on a persons mutual friend list _THAT IS NOT MY FB FRIEND_ don't add up to the amount that it says we have? example.. 'You and So and so have 20 mutual friends'..but when I count the mutuals it is not the same amount as it says? Why is that?

Maybe FB's calculator ran out of battery? Or some of them is deactive accounts?

some people either have blocked you, or their accounts got suspended for breaking the rules, or they deactivated their account by choice
