Trouble deleting Facebook account?

I am trying to permanently delete my account on Facebook, and I'm at this address https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account i have typed in my password and did the security check. It will display at the top of this window "Incorrect Email/Password Combination" i know that I'm typing the correct password but there isn't even an email box? I got the same message when trying to leave admin rolls on Facebook. If anyone knows if there is a way to escape this stupid social media craze successfully and to help me with me problem I will be thankfull

You can for a fact delete your Facebook. please read all of this. i have linked 2 address's and it tells you that you CAN delete it and how to! please actually read all of this and follow the links before you say that its not possible because i can get to the place to delete it just doesn't follow threw because it says I'm using the wrong password, i will try changing my password and then doing it agian

you can't delete but you can disable a account.

You cannot delete it, it just deactivates it until you log back on you can thank third parties and the nsa

You cannot "delete" a Facebook account. You can "deactivate" it, which means you can "reactivate" it at another time. Only Facebook can "delete" your account. Log into your account and fill in the online form then send it to them. If that doesn't work go to http://www.facebook.com and request a new password then log on again with your new password. Delete it then following my earlier info.

You Should Be Able to Delete it Go to That Link That you Posted than Click on Delete My Account Than Do Not Login At All For 14 Days and it will Be Destroyed
