how do i impress a girl in my school (we rarely know each other)?

i have read other peoples answers to this exact question but my situation is different...i have never talked to that girl and we barely know each other. The only problem is that i think i have all those desirable qualities that girls look for in a guy...
i Have a car, i am in the Basketball team, keep good hygiene, smart, intelligent ,funny, caring, have a cat (nothing to do with girls), a decent sense of humor, wear decent clothes, love to cook(Pizza, Roast, Fish, Burgers, chicken Handi, Marshmallows, Pancakes) and i am Very Honest...The only problem that i seem to have is confidence. what do girls mean when they say that the guy should be confident?
i mean, should i be proud..? be social..? i don't talk too much..should i make more friends..? What should i do..? how do i act confident.!?
and my school is not exactly co-ed so i just cant sit next to her in class
and BTW, the guys she hangs out with, you can add a dozen of them and they don't come close to me either in looks or intelligence...
and besides....i am a bit confused about my looks, would any of you open the link below and tel me whether i am good looking or not? i would really appreciate that

When a girl says she likes guys who are confident she means she likes guys to stand up for what they Believe in an dont back down. Girls want someone who will protect them and be 'strong'.

Start by talking to her on Facebook. Most girls love guys with a sense of humor so say funny things so the convo doesn't get awkward. As you talk to her more you will feel more confident and finally approach her with out her nor you feeling uncomfortable .

I want to start off by first saying thank you so much for answering my question! I would say to be more confident in yourself. confident can mean alot of different things..but most likely that means ur not afraid to talk to her and make the first move.
personally, i like shy and quiet but willing to protect and stand up for what he believes in. every girl is different. but, when u think u see some good reactions with her, dont wait too long because girls can change their minds pretty quick.

by confident they means to be yourself and not be ashamed of it. they dont like insecurity. personally i hate when guys are like "im fat", "im ugly", "im..." it makes them look like girls to me

if shes in your class talk to her like if she needs help, offer to help her or if shes close by and you need help ask her to explain and after a while ask for her number for "homework". i always ask for ppls numbers and say just for homework and i end up texting them for totally different reasons

Once my teacher told me to go to a different table but all the seats were taken and there was an empty chair across the room but i was too lazy to go get it so i decided to just stand and this guy i didnt really know brought me a chair. i thought it was the sweetest thing.

maybe you should try doing little things like that for her?
